they would hide behind the houses to heal up, and shoot from the RP side of the sim which is a no combat area. Most sims have a "leave the sim and you cant return for 30 minutes rule" so i guess it stemmed from that, and the fact they would hide to heal. Im not dso anymore so i dont give a stuff anyway lol, well out of that place, its a joke.

I've always loved how people bible beat "The Books".
"According to the data we have, 24.58% of free women in gor were white and had brown hair"
"According to the books the infant mortality rate in gor was 9%"

I think they forget that the idea of Gor was outlined by the author but what you do with that afterwords should be up to you. I mean secondlife is suppose to be a place for fantasy and make-believe. I personally don't see anything wrong with role playing anything, so long as the other person is enjoying it too. Shit if you want role play gorean dragons.. does it really matter that there was not a supporting quote in the books?

If you really want to get technical maybe the books are incomplete. Maybe there are things yet to be written..Just look at book 29.. before that there was no mention of Pani at all so who's to say that book 30 wont have gorean dragons?

My point is this.. people get so obsessed over what is gorean and what isn't that they loose site of the whole point they are even doing this in the first place. It's to have fun right? To get a tickle in your brain, perhaps a slight arousal as you play with whoever it is you fancy. The whole idea of erotica both in SL and RL is to enjoy it.

Saddly I've witnessed a trend in my long history in SL Gor. That trend has been to move away from actual story telling to something resembling "Call of duty..with sex" I've slowly but surely watched as Gor moved more and more towards a video game rather than a shared story telling experience. I chalk this up to immaturity and boredom mostly. I think that the really good RP was so sparce and spread out that most of the time people just ended up standing around in a sim twiddling their thumbs with nothing to do so it became "Hey who wants to go raid" I think that perhaps if we had just had a few more good RPers back then that maybe things might have turned out different.

Niccii had indeed done some stupid stuff. I have witnessed some of it myself. Like this one time she tried to stick a broom up this captive girls ass so she could turn the captive into a scarecrow.. but the slave girl had a no butt penetration limit.

I think soon people will start making contracts that you have to sign in triplicate before any role play begins. Perhaps you'll even have to have a lawyer look the contract over so you know exactly what is allowed with this particular person.

You know what is retarded about this blog... The comments. I could careless about being popular, there is no such thing on a Video game... and still the comments are for the most part bullying. Having limits that are normal gorean practices in your limits are LAME. Why play if you can't do what would be natural in gor, I mean there are many other combat/role play sims or games that are out there. I am sure that Woodhaven has some excellent role players there, but tping out in the middle of rp because you are collared in gorean role play is to much.
Perhaps I am a hypocritical, as I have said I am far from perfect, I could easily be blogged for some of the retarded shit I do and say, and surely I will be caught at it, turn in your logs...

It has nothing to do with beginners, that are crap roleplayers that know plenty of Gor and great ones that don't know a damn thing.
